Hi ladies! FH and I are having the worst time figuring when we should take our honeymoon, and where, but when we need to figure out when first. So I'm looking to you girls for some help or any other suggestions if you have any.
Here's the deal. I'm a teacher, and we're getting married at the end of September because FH refused to get married in the summer, he did not want to be in a tux in the summer heat, which I understand.
So I came up these options:
1. Take a short honeymoon right after wedding (5 days) and then take our extended honeymoon in the summer.
2. Take a mini-moon (long weekend) right after wedding and then take a longer honeymoon in October when I can use my personal days and combine them with days off from school.
3. Or do a combo of 1 and 2. Spend a long weekend at the hotel we block, take a longer honeymoon in October (FH gets a really good discount at all-inclusive resorts through a veterans organization) and take our extended honey the following summer.
Help!!!

Hmmm...I will have to discuss this with FH. 3 is definitely the most appealing, but we will have to price it out. If 3 wasn't an option, what would be your next choice?

Well number 3 if you can do it. The other best option is 2 because I would have no patience waiting for the summer to take off. Also I think you could get vacations at a great price in october.

I think 2 is my second choice. I really hate the idea of waiting till summer, but FH thinks it will be good because then we can save more money. But I really want to enjoy my honeymoon when we are still newlyweds!
