HONEYMOON...where ya going

fh went to a travel agent yesterday and he came back with the SANDALS book
the travel agent said the best place for sandals is Bahamas & St Lucia..

The thing with the Bahamas is that fsil has tme share there and we have been there 2 times already..

I just want ideas of were every is going or planning on going

we looked into Hawaii but it would cost us over 11,000

We are going to Aruba...FH's cousin has been generous enough to offer us her timeshare for the week...

Don't mean to be lurking on the 06 boards but i believe that American Airlines has 2 direct flights to Aruba everyday. One in the morning and one in the evening. Oh wait - where do you live? I am assuming that you are leaving from New York and that may not be the case???

Quite alright...Yea I am in NY..I have been looking for a direct flight for weeks...The only one I can find is 11:34am getting to Aruba at 4PM which basically kills that entire day!

Hawaii was $11,000? Really?
Im in the process of getting a few packages from an agent (referral from FSIL who used him) for Hawaii. He hasnt gotten back to me yet but from what I know she paid $5000 for 21 days and 3 islands. She took care of her own airfare. If he calls and comes back with some decent numbers...I'll let you know and maybe you may want to give him a call.
I know Hawaii is expensive but they say its SO worth it especially on your honeymoon. It kills me to pay a lot too. Hope I get to go!

We want to go to Aruba but have no idea where to stay... we don't want to break the bank but don't want to stay in a dump either. I am hoping to meet with a travel agent in the beginning of June.

We've both always really wanted to go to Hawaii. But knowing how expensive it is we prob won't get to stay too long!!

We went last year and stayed at the Wyndham it was beautiful! I LOVE Aruba! Feel free to FM with any questions

We definitely want to do a Mediterrrean cruise, but may incorporate Ireland in beforehand---but its one LONG flight from Ireland to Rome, (time, $)--but FH has his heart set on Ireland & we definitely want a Mediterranean cruise.

We are going to Nuevo Vallarta - just north of Puerto Vallarta and we are staying at the Grand Velas Grand Velas

Because our second wedding is in Portugal the week following our wedding here, we are gonna go to somewhere in Europe...maybe Itality? Not sure yet, haven't looked into all the details yet!
