fh went to a travel agent yesterday and he came back with the SANDALS book
the travel agent said the best place for sandals is Bahamas & St Lucia..

The thing with the Bahamas is that fsil has tme share there and we have been there 2 times already..

I just want ideas of were every is going or planning on going

we looked into Hawaii but it would cost us over 11,000

Hawaii was $11,000? Really?
Im in the process of getting a few packages from an agent (referral from FSIL who used him) for Hawaii. He hasnt gotten back to me yet but from what I know she paid $5000 for 21 days and 3 islands. She took care of her own airfare. If he calls and comes back with some decent numbers...I'll let you know and maybe you may want to give him a call.
I know Hawaii is expensive but they say its SO worth it especially on your honeymoon. It kills me to pay a lot too. Hope I get to go!

i think he was quoted between 8000-9000
plus food and all that good stuff it would cost us around 11,000.

i should have worded it the right way lolol
butthe food and spending money you do need on the honeymoon so i was right lolol

5000 is not bad .. def let me know when he gets back to you PLEASEEEEEEEE

I have heard good things about aruba. FI and I are debating whether or not to do an all inclusive. Can those who have been to Aruba FM me what they paid? Some of the places we have seen have been so expensive!! TIA!!

Not too soon sweetie.. We are getting married in Aug 06 and we are booking our honeymoon this June to take advantage of the early booking discounted rate (Sandals) We are going to be saving about $3,000 that way. I'd look into it!

We are up in the air. We are looking into:

Capri Secrets-mexico
El Dorado Royale-Mexico
or
Sandals-St. Lucia

We can't make up our minds. Probably be the place that is the cheapest for the week.

We definitely want to do a Mediterrrean cruise, but may incorporate Ireland in beforehand---but its one LONG flight from Ireland to Rome, (time, $)--but FH has his heart set on Ireland & we definitely want a Mediterranean cruise.

Ireland to Rome isn't that long of a flight - relative to the hop across the Atlantic. Plus there are so many low cost airfare airlines in Europe. Some let you fly for 49LB, which is a little less than $100. Check it out! Would be a great combo!
