HoneymoonWishes.com vs. TheBigDay.com question

The biggest thing that I do not like is the notification of gift purchases. I know The Big Day offers guests an option to surprise the bride and groom. Does anyone know if honeymoonwishes does?

It looks like wishes writes up the gift description and big day lets you write your own... true? And do either of them let me upload my own pic for any gift or do they have stock pics.

Did you decide between these two honeymoon registries? Which one did you go with and why over the other?

And I've searched the board and these are the few questions I could not find answers to!

honeymoonwishes lets you retrieve your $$$ at any time while the big day only lets you get it a few days before your trip. that was what made my decision. and the 7% service charge (HM wishes) vs. the 8 or 9% at big day helped to contribute to my decision.

guests can create their own notes on HM wishes. A few of mine have already.

But do you have to be notified of each purchase or can you turn that feature off? I really like to be surprised!

The pros and cons are killing me! I like how big day lets you write your own description and it looks like you can even add your own pics. And also, they let you give a little welcoming few paragraphs to thank your guests for viewing and explain why a HM registry instead of Target!
