Honoring Moms During Ceremony?

I once read something about a rose ceremony for the moms but can't find it anymore...has anyone else heard of this? Or is anyone else doing anything different to show their moms how much you love thema nd appriciate all they've done for you?
Thanks!

After COmmunion, I gave a rose to my mother.... then, DH and I broguht a bouquet of flowers and left them at the Blessed Mother's altar in honor of his mother, who has passed. There was not a dry eye in the church!

we did a rose ceremony/presentation for my mom and dh's parents. i presented a rose to his parents, and he presented a rose to my mom, and father joe talked about the joining of families. you could do something similar for just the moms, but dads are special too, so you could always honor both sets of parents!

I also gave my mother in law a rose and my husband presented my mother with a rose right after the presentation of the gifts while the cantor sang Ava Maria. Our moms were surprised and it was just an extra touch we wanted to do honoring two of the most special ladies in our lives.
