I used to do them as a kid...they are not hard at all...
the canvas is colored for you...you need a hook tool and you put the hook in the hole and just pull the little piece of yarn (already cut for you ) through...
very simple!!!
my mom made all the sesame street characters for my room as a child!!!!

They're very easy to do; I've been doing them since I was a kid. My mom loves doing them too. She once put down on a profile sheet for a HS reunion that she was a 'Hooker'! LOL
