Yep for me. I bought a purse just so that I can put all my stuff in it (my lipstick, blotting papers, powder, etc) and so that it's readily accessible. I won't be carrying it myself, but I'll have it in the bridal suite or leave it with my mom so that my stuff isn't mixed in with someone else's stuff and so that I can grab it and just head to the ladies room if I need to or whatever.

I am. You never know when you'll need some more lip gloss or something and the truth is, your DOC and mom will not be with you the entire night. They will have other things or people to attend to. And, you wont want to be making trips to your bridal suite all night just for lip gloss and stuff. So, yes, I will have a small purse that matches my dress that I'll have with me.

My sister had this gift bag full of emergency things she would need and kept it in the bridal suite. I am going to do the same thing.

Me too.... I know a couple of past brides recomended that one of their regrets on their wedding day was letting someone else hold their make-up and not having it on them made retouching more difficult and they regretted it. I got a cute little clutch bag for the day of to keep my lipstick, blotting papers, and inhalor (i'm an asthmatic) on me!!
PS.....Who can resist an excuse for a new purse

I'm going to make an emergency kit too. I always carry around everything from bandaids to advil to ... well you name it. I can't imagine not having an emergency kit on the big day. I'm always thinking 'what if...'
