Hopefully looking at wedding bands this weekend!

Hopefully looking at wedding bands this weekend!

FH and I will be back in NY for thanksgiving and I want to start looking for wedding bands. I was thinking of checking out Good Old Gold and possibly Tri-County upstairs (I know they have lots of jewelry counters but not sure how good the quality is).

Any recommendations of where to go? I'm afraid it might not be easy to find something I like since my ring is a solitaire with a very low setting and I'd like my band to sit flush as much as possible. I'd like a half-diamond band.

FH is open minded with his.

Hopefully something good quality but not too expensive..

I think sometimes your best bet is to go back to teh person who made your ring. Sometimes they have a matchng band already of can easily get you one. Since you got your E-Ring there maybe he wil give you a deal ..Goodluck.. ps..I have a pear also.

I made an appt to go to Elsa's this weekend. I was told that they can custom make you a ring to go with your ering. But I haven't been there yet, so I don't know how good the place is yet.

that is good if you aren't looking to match.. Pears can be stubborn stones. I'm having a wedding band made its pears C>C>C>C> in a row kind of like that. Thanks I love my setting also .

Re: Hopefully looking at wedding bands this weekend!

my sister went to the little booth in tri county to get her e ring setting changed and a new band. the guys name was ed - he helped me too; i was looking for a band.

my other BIL gets my other sister's jewelry at tri-county also.... i can NEVER remember the name of the booth but her jewelry is GORGEOUS and they are all usually negotiable.

We looked last weekend, and we're going this weekend to the Diamond District, it was so overwhelming
