Hoping it didnt have to come to this.......

Well, Im spotting, so I guess Im getting AF any day now.
My doctor recommended that I should seek a fertility specialist and gave me the name. But I was hoping it didnt have to come to this.
I was on Clomid, and artificially inseminated

I feel like an idiot. I went to babiesrus last night buying stuff for a friends shower this weekend, and I broke down and cried

No way..you're not an idiot!!! This a tough process and it sucks we have to go through it to begin with. Its a hreatbreaking process surrounded by loss many times and it full on sucks!!!! I think a good fertility specialist will get things moving and you will begin to feel more positive and have more hope. Hang in there...so many people get pregnant..it will happen for you too!!! If it makes you feel better..Im a walking, crying basket case..Im in the process of adoption, which is also a heartbreaking process and Im an emotional wreck. Anything with trying to start a family is challenging...but it will happen. Cry if ya need too..it makes you feel better!!

I just can't comprehend why so many women in our age group are having the issues they are. I know the chances get harder as we mature but we're not 90!! I think I have more friends who are experiencing issues getting pregnant now than I have friends who have gotten pregnant naturally. It makes me feel so helpless when I desperately want to do something, anything to help them. Whatever you have to do at this point to make your dreams come true, see it through. My friend had a blockage in one of her tubes and just one month after her surgery - BAM! She was pregnant. Here she was trying for three years on clomid with no success. I wish there was something I could say to make things easier or wave some magic wand and make your dreams (as well as so many others) come true.

Please know you're in my thoughts and prayers. I'll be hoping 2005 brings you the most precious blessing you desire.

Please don't feel like an idiot - I'm not as far along on this journey as you are but I'm also feeling the frustration of not conceiving as easy as I thought...
I had my cry over the weekend when I heard that SIL just found out she's pregnant. Believe I'm thrilled and excited just sad for myself that it's not me

Im just so sick and tired of hearing my family say it will happen, just relax and it nature will take its course. I dont know if I will tell my parents that Im seeking out further assistance.

I think all the other girls have said everything I wanted to express. I wanted send you some hugs and prayers that the fertility specialist will be the answer you have been searching for.

She had 3 miscarriages and 4 atopic (is that how its spelt?) in which case both fallopian tubes were lost! So now her only option is invetro!

My SIL had invetro in March and last week gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl! So it can and will happen even if you have to seek some help!!!
