Horrible!

Horrible!

I had such a horrible dream last night about the wedding. In my dream I had no flowers, there were just a few green ferns on some of the tables, there were also no table settings, no plates, forks, etc. I bought a bunch of pillar candles for all the tables and just a few had them on their table. Then to make it worst my guests started a BBQ on the outside terrace because they said the food didn't taste good. I know these dreams start to happen as it gets closer to the wedding but it was horrible. Anyone else have any to share?

Thanks, it's definitely because it's right around the corner and I am hoping everything goes well and I want everyone to have a good time.

I never ever ever thought it would happen to me, but they are starting, I think it is funny, don't worry though - they are only dreams!!

I have had dreams as such as being without makeup and hair do, or wearing a black strappy bra with my spagetti strap gown ... but they have stopped for now!

Re: Horrible!

Don't worry,

I've had my fair share, usually thinking something will go terribly wrong
Last dream my sister (MOH) refused to get in the limo and wanted to drive her jeep so she could stop off to get breakfast

It's just our fears getting the best of us

Try not to worry about it...I know easier said then done. I started to loose sleep right before the wedding but I found that keeping a pen and pad next to my bed helped a bit. As soon as I wrote down my 'don't forget' note I felt I could stop worring about it until the morning and I could get some sleep. Although, trying to read what I had written in the dark was sometimes a challenge.

I just remember in one of my dreams I had forgotten to get my hair done and I started balling and I ruined my make-up. Needless to say I called to confirm both my hair and make-up appointments the next day.

I've been having them on and off since we got engaged. Some nights are worse then others..last night I was having flower nightmares. I've also had good dreams about the wedding also.

I have them too. My FH think's that I'm crazy! I have dreams about the hair,make-up,DJ/guests not showing up! He tells me to relax and that since we're planning so well nothing like that will happen.
I know he's right, but it doesn't stop my dreams!

Re: Horrible!

it's really amazing that the mind keeps stressing over the wedding even when we are asleep, I had about 20 wedding nightmares all together, it was horrible, but funny!

I haven't had any wedding dreams or nightmare in a long time, but my FMIL called me the other night and said she's having them!

Re: Horrible!

I average one a week, if not more

I find if I eat late, I am more prone to them, and if I exercise after work, I am less prone to them

I am kind of glad that I have wedding nightmares- they have replaced the ones where I had to go back to high school because I forgot ot take a certain class. Mine are usually that the wedding is over and I forgot to show up, pick up my dress or that I blacked out the whole wedding and can't remember anything.

Re: Horrible!

I haven't had any but my mom had this wierd dream that I was a baby, like 18 months old, and when she woke up she felt like it was really real, and she couldn't figure out where I was. Guess she doesn't ant to let go of her little girl!!! I still ahve time though I am sure I will get them, right before graduating I had numerous dreams about my teeth falling out!! (sign that you feel like your life is in disarray) But they are only dreams, so try and relax.

I keep having them also - In mine, it feels like the wedding is 5 minutes long and nothing looks right or is organized. I just keep saying, 'It can't be over, it can't be over'...
These wedding nightmares are driving me nuts
