Well... I haven't been on in a while and I think coming online earlier probably would have helped. About a week ago on my way to work , there was a major back up. It was like a day or two after that big snow storm. I found out later on it was because of an accident up ahead. Anyway, this guy comes driving up next to me on the shoulder and gets stopped by a mound of snow in front of him. I was stopped and could not go because there was a car in front of me. All of the sudden he starts beeping for me to move. But there was no where to go. All the suddent, he rolls down his window points a gun at me and says MOVE YOU F***ING B**** MOVE. I was so terrified. I thought he was going to shot me. I don't know if he had just committed a crime or something but he was crazy. Luckily for me the car in front of me moved up and I turned down a one way street the wrong way to get away from him. Unfortuntately I did't see the make or model of the car because he was next to me and as soon as that car in front of me moved I just wanted to get as far from him as possible. I am sure he just wanted to scare me and get me to move...Well...he succeeded. The worst part is now I have horrible nightmares. I was a horrible experience that I would not wish on anyone. Thanks for listening girls. I just wanted to get it out. Hopefully it will get easier and easier to go to sleep.

Kel, thats terrible!! I know it must have been a horriffic experience. Too bad you didn't get a good look at the car. This way you could have reported it. I don't think it's too late. There may have been witnesses. You never know. I'm sooooooooooooo happy your ok. And on a happier note, congratulations to you and your partner

OMG Kelly!!! I'm so sorry to hear that happened to you, I would be traumatized too!!! Since I know you live in Howard Beach too.....where did this happen? I wouldn't be surprised if it was on the Belt Parkway....that highway is full of maniacs. I hope you stop having the nightmares.....maybe you need to talk to someone about it.

OMG! That is so scary! I have to admit that I am always scared of something like that happening.
Would it help if you talked to someone about it? Oh...that is a terrible experience and it is natural to have nightmares after a traumatic experience.

omg that is horrible so sorry you had to go through that! the important thing is that you came out it safe and unharmed~ praise God for that! i'd be having nightmares too though...just thinking about it give me chills ~ it scares me and makes me angry to think about the way some ppl act

I am sooo sorry to hear this! Society now adays! Just remember they are only nightmares and they will get easier to deal with. My sister was robbed at knifepoint once and I know what a traumatic experience it is to encounter something like this.

Thank you all for the support and kind words. It was a terrible experience that I hope that I never have to endure again. Luckily I am safe. It is just sick to think about what crazy people there are out there. Thanks again girls!

Oh my lord. I am so sorry you went through that! As others have said, you may want to consider talking to a therapist to help you through the situation.
But congrats on your partnership! I hope soon NY will wake up and realize that love and committment takes more forms than just between a man and a woman!

OMG!!! I am so sorry-that is just horrible. I can't get over how some people think that it's okay to just point a gun at someone, whether they are going to shoot or not. I really hope that person gets kicked in the a$$ with some bad kharma
