Horrible Commercial; Kinda wedding related

Have any of you seen that commercial where they show the couple telling the parents that they are getting married, and then they show them having the wedding and the dad can't be there because he is in the hospital bed dying of lung cancer? It is so awful, I know that it is to get a point across, but I cry everytime it's on. My daddy can't be at my wedding because he died of lung cancer, so it hits close to home. Once again, I know it is to get the point across, but it just $uck$ that I have to see this commercial as my wedding is getting closer, already feeling sad that he won't be there. Well I just needed to have this little vent.

Ugh I know I've seen that commercial and I cant stand it. My aunt is dying from Lung cancer and even that hits too close to home for me. I'm so sorry

I hate that commericial...it's too much- FH and I just stared confused at eachother the first time we saw it....very sorry that it hits home for you...

I HATE that commercial. I can take the one with the woman who lost her fingers, or the guy talking thru the voicebox, but that father/daughter one hits too close to home. Ughhh I can't stand that commercial.

Sorry about your dad..I can relate..he will be smiling down on you on your special day.

i DESPISE that commercial...lets petition to have it removed!

I lost my dad and not even to lung cancer and it makes me cry!

I hate that commercial, me and FH saw it for the first time last week and we looked at each other like What the eff... was that?

I am so sorry. Some of those commercials can be personal. Just know that your Dad is watching over you and he will be there in spirit.
