Horrible DAY! VENT
Soo ladies, I hate to be a debbie downer but I had an awful day and cannot sleep b/c I feel so guilty!!! I didn't know where else to vent!
Sooo I was helping someone out and babysitting. I figured I would do a load of laundry to be nice. I noticed a stain on something and put it in the sink near the washer to soak for a few. I forgot to shut the sink off and it was overflowing for like 1/2 an hour!
I suddenly remembered that I forgot it and had a FREAK OUT!! I cleaned it up and still heard dripping only to open the door to the basement and find water coming out of the CEILING!! Like, in multiple spots! I literally had a freaking panic attack, was crying and had no idea what to do!!!
I called my father and he came w/ our wet vac and everything was cleaned up but still I feel TERRIBLE. I called the mother of these children and explained what happened. She was super calm, actually laughed, and said chill out, we are renovating that and ripping everything out dont worry blah blah but I still cannot believe I was so irresponsible and I feel like total c r a p!!! I have a knot in my stomach. I offered to pay for any damage and she said don't worry. They have those floor heating vents and I just keep thinking the worst, like, what if there is damage to the heating system, what if the floor is messed up OMG!!!!!![]()
