Okay, so I went to Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook today and they were awesome, unfortunately I did not find a dress there that I loved. Then I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa where I have never been treated soooo poorly in my life!!! The woman basically told me she doesn't cater to people 'like me.' I dont know what that means..is it because i said my price range was no more than 2500 or because I wasn't wearing a ring..regardless..she showed me horrendous dresses and wouldnt let me try anything on that i saw and liked...she was so rude i tried one thing on and left! i am SO upset over this..

Some places are so terrible. I went to David's Bridal in Westbury last summer to get some ideas and try on some styles. First the lady barely wanted to help me b/c I had 2 years till my wedding. Then she said it was a good thing I had 2 years so I would have time to lose weight!

don't be upset, a lot of girls on here have similar stories to yours. I'm not sure how they stay in business. I swore I'd never step foot in that store after what I've heard about them on this website. There are plenty of stores out there with nice sales people, if you need any recommendations you can always ask us.

i honestly don't remember the ladies name and I did start to lose it just before I stormed out.
I feel like i'm starting to run out of places now though. I've been to: Renate's in Lindenhurst Lidia's in Copiague Bridal Couture in Manhasset Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook Bridal Suite in Bayshore David's Bridal and some weird designer in the city
I would really appreciate some suggestions for other places to try out where the people are nice!

wow thats incredibly rude! im sorry you had to deal with that! ive heard so many bad things about bridal reflections,..i will not go there..but don't be upset there are plenty of other places you can go where you won't be treated like that..definately try bridal suite of bayshore and bridal suite of centereach..the ladies were really nice and very helpful!!

I went there several years ago when I was in my SIL's wedding. The sales staff was just rude. My next door neighbor had a similar experience. I chose not to buy my wedding dress from them.

Lotus Bridal in Brooklyn. They are a LIW vendor. I bought my dress from them and they are so sweet, helpful and accommodating. I also got my veil from them.

I know it's hard when you go from salon to salon & don't find what you are looking for. I had been to 9 stores before I found my dress. Don't get discouraged. I had good experiences at RK Bridal, Bridal Reflections(the one in carle place) Amsale(in the city & they also have kenneth poole dresses) & Priscilla of Boston(in roslyn)-- I got my dress at Priscilla & their customer service was amazing. Shortly after I purchased my dress, the saleslady who helped me mailed me a long hand-written thank-you card.. it was a very nice touch & made me feel like yes, they had my money but they still remembered me.
