Lillette's was great. I had a great experience there. I found a dress that I loved but didn't want to get since it was my first day shopping. I am planning on going to Bridal reflections in Massapequa because my mom wanted to go there....... I will let you know how my experience goes, but if it doesn't go well I am heading straight back to Lillette's. I worked with lidia and really liked her!

the same thing happend to me..the girl i worked with was really great there after telling her..listen..i dont have an Ering because i didnt get proposed to but im getting married..heres my date..heres my price range and here are the designers i would like to try on..and that was that..

i had to put them in their place because of everything that i heard about them

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience there. That stinks because dress shopping is supposed to be one of the best things about planning your wedding. I went there and had a OK experience even though I had a budget of $1200 and am plus size. I heard of others who had terrible experiences there though and as scared to go.

Have you tried Bridal Garden in Bethpage? My friend got her dress from there and said they were wonderful. I never went because I found my dress at Bridal Suite in Bayshore (after trying on about 40 dresses in over 6 places). Don't worry- you will find the one eventually- don't let BR discourage you.

i had the same experience - the very first place i went to was BR. I showed them one dress - and tried it on. Then I asked for ANY dress as long as it was under $3000 and NOT strapless.

Well, apparently 'all of the dresses are strapless' so there was nothing else for me to try on. OH but then she brought out a STRAPLESS dress that was over $6000. . .

Finally, my MOH and sister started STEALING dresses from other girls ( when they were done with them) for me to try on. The lady wanted nothing to do with me. . .she wanted me to 'make' a dress ( by combining different dresses) bc there were NO strapless dresses there. . . i left there crying and i was so depressed.


whatever - i ended up buying my dress at flowerama in Queens but they dont take orders any more

I HIGHLY recommend Lillette's in Baldwin i got my BM and FG dresses there and have had a great experience!

Okay, so I went to Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook today and they were awesome, unfortunately I did not find a dress there that I loved. Then I went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa where I have never been treated soooo poorly in my life!!! The woman basically told me she doesn't cater to people 'like me.' I dont know what that means..is it because i said my price range was no more than 2500 or because I wasn't wearing a ring..regardless..she showed me horrendous dresses and wouldnt let me try anything on that i saw and liked...she was so rude i tried one thing on and left! i am SO upset over this..

This would piss me off! How are people in business when this is how they treat customers?

I'm sure people have had good experiences with Bridal Reflections BUT I think there are more bad experiences with them then good. I also had a bad experience with them where they wouldn't 'let' me try on dresses Although I made sure to tell her I won't ever be back and won't ever tell anyone to go there!!!!

WOW! I can not beleive that. I hope you got the managers name. I would definitley speak to the manager and send a complaint to the BBB.

That too! After you write the better business bureau and talk to the manager definatley sock her one.
