horrible hair/make-up trial

i had my first, and what i was hoping last, hair and make-up trial this weekend. it was HORRIBLE. the girl who did my hair had no idea what she was doing - i pretty much could have done what she did (curled it all with a curling iron and put it in pony tail holder) and it looked nothing like the picture i showed her. wasn't even a nice looking modification of the picture!

the make-up....eyeliner was all over my eyelids, my lips weren't completely filled in with lipstick and within an hour i looked like a raccoon.

what's worse, it cost almost $200.

guess it's back to the drawing board!

How much is everyone paying the day of the wedding??? I am paying like $250.00 for both and she comes to me, so I don't have to leave my grandmother's house

I am so sorry you had a bad trial, but like someone said before, Thank Goodness you got a trial done! It could have been very bad the day of then! Good Luck with your next trial!!!!!

$65 I WANTED TO PASS OUT WHEN HE TOLD ME THE PRICE. HE SAID THERE WAS NO REASON TO CHARGE MORE THE DAY OF THE WEDDING.

my cousin was charged 175 just for her hair, so when i heard $250 for both I said ok... $125 is better then $175.

I had an awful trial and I wasted $180 on it, so I feel your pain. It ***** when you hope it will work out, and then it doesnt and its basically back to the drawing board. I'm sure you will find someone else and everything will perfect. At least you know now that whomever did your hair/makeup is not the right fit for you! I had teh same problem where I could have basically done myself what she did to my hair, it was a joke.Good luck and again, I'm sure it will all work out in the end.

i agree at least you had a trial! It stinks that you had to pay all that money but at least it wasn't your wedding day and you hated your hair and makeup Good luck finding someone else, i am sure you will

i know - i keep reminding myself of this. i would have been livid if it had been the day of. what worries me is that while we were there we heard the person answering the phone tell a couple of callers that they didn't need to book a trial. yikes!

i would have wanted to grab the phone out of her hand a tell the people to run the other way That's crazy, no trial

I am using Nicole from Brittney & Co in Franklin Sq. She is great she did my hair for my girlfriends wedding and she is doing my hair for my wedding as well as my maid of honor.....

She is very reasonable a lot less then $200.00 an a women named Millie she also did my make-up before and she was great she can even come to your house.
