HORRIBLE MORNING

i think you should forget the drop off and head right to the dentist. plus you'll probably have time to do both? i can't imagine going to Fox Hollow will take all that long. Feel better!

Sorry to hear this Laura but I agree -- get into that Dentist NOW. Or better yet go right to the oral surgeon. If they have to take it out -- they are better for the job then the dentist.

I will go to the Fox Hollow for you if need be -- go get the tooth taken care of!

I also agree with everyone, you should definitely try and make time to go today and have someone else do the drop off for you. It's most likely not going to get better on its own, only worse. So you must try and be proactive about it.
I'm in a lot of pain today too and I had my wisdom teeth out two weeks ago!! I'm headed back to the surgeon today so he can check out what the heck is going on.

Laura, laura, laura!!!!!! SOOOOO sorry to hear this!!!!!! I really hope you are at the dentist now and that they can give you something to keep the swelling and pain down until Monday. Good thing you are not going on your honeymoon right away!!!!!!!! I am soooo sorry you have to deal with now.

You HAVE to go today... and early! this way if they have to extract it you have time for the swelling to go down!!!

I agree - that is why I asked you if it was impacted. If the tooth is not impacted, you should be able to get it pulled now without swelling by the time of your wedding. If the tooth is impacted, then I would NOT recommend pulling it now. The swelling from an impacted wisdom tooth is UNREAL on a lot of people. Either way - the dentist should be able to give you antibiotics in case it is infected, and also vicodin or tylenol w/codiene for the pain and swelling!!!!

ETA: Impacted means the tooth isn't coming out of your gums straight as a normal tooth would. It means the tooth is growing really crooked OR totally sideways, meaning nearly parallel with your gums as opposed to perpendicular to it.

I got Vicodin after they took my widoms out. To actually get them out the put me under full anesthesia so I was asleep during it!

MAKE SURE he is prescribing an ANTI inflammatory - that is the most important thing - as long as you have that you will be fine

obviously a painkiller too but you HAVE to get it to now get swollen. . .

okay i feel better now - make sure you get that A-I and you are golden
