Re: Hot Glue Guns vs. Warm Glue Guns
I didn't realize they had warm glue guns. Maybe the glue doesn't get as runny?

Re: Hot Glue Guns vs. Warm Glue Guns
some glue guns have different temps... is that what you are talking about??
For lower temp glue guns, the glue doesnt get as hot and dosnt melt as much....
pretty much the hotter the temp of the glue gun the better it all sticks together and the more it hurts when you accidentally touch the glue...
as an art teacher, the lower temp glu gun comes in handy when we are mounting student work... the lower temp glue is easier to remove if you make a mistake or when you want to remove the artwork from where you mounted it without ripping anything...
hope that makes sense!

okay... so for simpler crafts, a lower temp glue gun (which is what I think I meant) should suffice?). I have to seal the hole at the top of my Christmas ornament favors so the sand inside doesn't leak out, so I want to make sure that the lower temp (less expensive) glue gun will suffice.
You explained it perfectly. Good teacher! Thank you!
