Have you ever had one??? I'm contemplating getting one, but want to see if it would be worth it. I love aromatherapy and swedish massages, and I guess I'm concerned that the hot stone massage wouldn't compare to them. Please let me know if it is worth it to get one, and if you enjoyed the hot stone massage more than a typical aromatherapy or Swedish massage. Also, is the amount of pressure in a hot stone massage similar to the pressure in a Swedish massage? Thanks!!

I had one last summer and I really enjoyed it. Then again, being pampered is extremely enjoyable

I had one. It was nice. But they have to stop every few minutes to get new stones. I didnt like that. It wasnt continuous.

'10 crashing...
ive had one and, to me, its not worth the money. its nice for a first time but i personally like as much hand-body contact as possible and the stones (while nice), take away from that. im paying for someone to massage me, i want to feel it 100% of the time.
i will say that hot stones are good if you have a really bad sore spot you need working on. the direct heat with pressure works well in combination. as for pressure, i do think its comparable to a swedish. HTH
