Hotel Block

Okay so I need your opinions on something.

As far as a hotel block I would like to get the shuttle but I am not shelling out 500 dollars so the guests who choose to get inebriated can get a free ride to a hotel that is down the block.

I heard of hotels including the shuttle into the room price but the hotel I want does not do that. Does anyone know a hotel that does in fact do that. The shuttle would be an added bonus but it is not on my top priority to spend 500 for transportation for about 30 guests to drive 3 minutes down the block.

Am I being unreasonable? Does anyone know of any good hotels on the Nassau/ Suffolk border that would include the shuttle?

Also they didn’t include a breakfast! Do hotels mostly come with a breakfast?

HELP! lol

It's your wedding, dont feel obligated to do anything that is out of budget...But, I know the Viana includes the shuttle if eight rooms book. If you choose to not provide a shuttle I would maybe state on the hotel card that transportation will NOT be provided, I think a lot of guest assume transportation is provided with the hotel. I know I have local friends who are staying at the hotel that night so they do not have to drink and drive. I am someone who would not drive even if I had one drink so that is I thought the shuttle was an absolute necessity and booked with Viana. It is a little out of the way but the free shuttle definitely helps us out money wise. None of the hotels I looked at provided a free breakfeast.

I know the Courtyard at Republic Airport has a shuttle.

It really depends on the hotel brand on if they include breakfast or not. Most Hilton brand hotels (Hilton, Hilton Garden Inn, Hampton Inn, Homewood Suites) include breakfast. Others do not. Normally the higher end hotels don't include breakfast but the 'lower end' do.
