I have been checking my hotel block every few weeks, to make sure all is good with it, and if it's full, etc. How often do you check your hotel block? I feel like the hotel staff is probably annoyed at having to email it to me every few weeks, but I want to make sure nothing is messing up. Your thoughts?
I definitely need to do this! We have so many OOT guests. It's been kind of annoying dealing with the hotels though - they take forever to get back to us sometimes.
We have found hotels to not be helpful. Ask if they have a web link to check your guests. After much stress our wedding planner gave us the heads up that Sheraton has such a link which they gave us access to after we asked for it.
Now that our invites are out, I'm pretty sure that I'll be stalking the hotel site way more often.
I've checked once before the invites went out (the info was on the STD) and once since they've been sent out. I think I might check again next week and see if I need to add some rooms if possible for the night of.
That's part of their job! Don't feel bad. Mine booked up before the invites went out, so u are better to check!
