Hotel Block contract

Girls-

I just wanted to warn you.. make sure that you are reading those (and all)your contracts very very carefully and then give them to someone else to read. I got my hotel contract and i read it no problem, Fh read it no problem and since there are so many rooms blocked (100) i sent to my dad

the contract says

blah blah...Wedding agrees that it will be responsible for using, 100 room nights in the pattern set forth below (such number and such pattern, the “Room Night Commitment”):

and then lists nights and prices
when I read it i put my assumptions on the sentences based on what they told me... that i would not have to pay for any remaining rooms but,
this sentence doesnt state that nor anywhere else on the contract and if you read the sentences exactly as its written (like my dad did) it says im Responsible for using all 100 rooms..... VERY generlized and iffy... so i called. she is rewritting the contract for me, but could you imagine if i didnt catch this and i had to pay for 100 rooms there goes the Honeymoon fund!

I see your getting married in Sayville and so am I...Our hotels may be the same. Please FM me with the hotel you are using if you don't mind bc I recently blocked rooms at two hotels and now am wondering about them !

**update, they work fast!

She sent me a revised contract that now says

...will be responsible for Blocking , 100 room nights in the pattern set forth below

and..

. You will not be responsible for payment for any rooms that are not blocked by the end of the cut off date stated above.

now i feel better :) i can keep the honeymoon money!

I say take dad out to eat!
