Hotel block help
First off I feel SO behind! I know I should've booked my hotel block already but I haven't. Has anyone done a hotel block at the Holiday Inn Express on Nesconset Highway in Setauket? Or at the Marriott on the LIE service road by exit 58? My wedding is at Flowerfield and I don't know where to book! I'm feeling so stressed!! Any experience or advice would be greatly appreciated....TIA

I got my block at the Islandia Marriott (exit 58 on the LIE). It's a beautiful hotel and the rates are great. The woman who I worked with was Dominique and she is very nice and helpful. I think you can call the hotel's main number and just ask for her. HTH!

Thank you. Do you know if they offer a shuttle? Or if we can do a brunch?

No problem! They don't offer a shuttle. It seems not too many of them do actually. And yes you can do a brunch.

I also booked at Marriot Islandia with the help of Dominque- she's great. They don't offer a shuttle service-i had to book the shuttles on my own. The Marriot does offer the breakfast the next day- its about $25-30pp.

Re: Hotel block help
I booked Holiday Inn in Stonybrook because it is 3 miles away, newly renovated, free breakfast, but no shuttle. I figure the 5 minute ride is ok for guests.

Ditto! They only offer free shuttle service for airport pickup. The rooms and facility are so nice!
