Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels near the Fox Hollow? I don't want to block rooms at the Inn bc I think it is too expensive for my guests. I also would like a hotel that offers a shuttle. TIA!

Did you block the rooms there or did your guests book on their own? I just dont want to have to pay for the rooms if they arent booked.

Re: Hotel block near Fox Hollow
we started off booking a handful of rooms, then we called to see if they had booked yet and added more rooms accordingly. we didnt end up paying for any rooms that werent booked.

We didn't do a room block at the Inn b/c we felt it was too expensive as well. We ended up with a room block at the Executive Inn, just 1/8 mile away. They offered a free shuttle.
On our Accomodation card, we wrote that the block was at the Executive Inn for $99 and then had an alterative at the Inn at FH for $199. Some people booked at the Inn (about 3), but for $100 less most people (about 20) booked at the Exec.

How many rooms did the Executive Inn require? How many to get the shuttle?
thanks!!!

Re: Hotel block near Fox Hollow
theres the Hilton Garden Inn and the Homewood suites by Hilton not to far away in Plainview, and I believe their rate was 139 or so, it may still be expensive, but I had guests who stayed there rather than the Inn at fox Hollow

Four Points Sheraton in Plainview is about 10-15 mins away. they're charging me $135 per night and the rooms are really nice!

Re: Hotel block near Fox Hollow
maybe you can negotiate with the Inn. we're doing our block there, and it was $179 a room. you have to guarentee 60% though.

i believe you had to block 10 rooms, and guarantee 7. you get the shuttle for free with the room block as long as someone hasn't booked it already for that night.
