Hotel Block Question

So I have started to look into Hotel accomodations for any OOT guests for the wedding night. I narrowed it down to 2 Hotels, but need help deciding which one to choose. I know which one I am leaning towards, but I would love some feedback from you wonderful ladies!

Hampton Inn - 109.00 Rate
Love this hotel chain!
Great room rate, comfortable bed and room.
Complimentary breakfeast for everyone.
2 miles from RH

Hilton Garden Inn - 129.00 Rate
Reputable hotel chain
Decent room rate
Complimentary shuttle to and from RH, provided that we book 10 rooms ( I dont forsee this being an issue at all)
No complimentary breakfeast- but plenty of choices for something to eat.
Also 2 miles from RH

Which one would you girls go with???
Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

I'd go with the complimentary shuttle. It's a great thing to have for your guests at the hotel. Saves a hassle for the having to figure out how to get back after drinking all night long

I would go with the shuttle. Although the rate is a little higher I think your guests will appreciate the ride.

Have you tried telling the hotel you found a lower rate elsewhere and seeing if they will honor that rate

if you have mostly young ppl staying at the hotel or ppl you think are drinkers the shuttle is better....

if you have older oot guests they may prefer breakfast....

Re: Hotel Block Question

Why don't you go with both hotels and give your guests the option to choose? You can list the different perks for each hotel (free shuttle, breakfast, etc.) on your website and by word of mouth, your family/bridal party can help spread the word as to which hotel most of the bridal party, etc. will be staying at.

Re: Hotel Block Question

I had the same dilemma and went with the one that had breakfast. I thought it was much more convenient, and saved me the trouble of putting together a day-after brunch. Plus I figured I could get a shuttle anywhere, even if I had to pay for it. Also, the shuttle at our runner up hotel wasn't really a shuttle, it was a 10 passenger van that would only make trips back and forth if a certain number of guests were booked. So definitely double check before you do either! HTH
