Hotel Block Quote

Hi ladies! Quick question... How much of a discount were you quoted on your hotel block reservation? I am going with Four Points Sheraton, but they have changed things on me a couple times now and I have not signed a contract with them yet. I was quoted only a $4 discount compared to what the price for a room is if I booked on THEIR website (not 3rd party like orbitz)... is this average or should I try to negotiate?

We are getting married the same day and were quoted $159 for the night. We chose not to go with them but they were the highest of the few we looked at.

Thanks jdm! Do you mind me asking who you went with? Also, did you happen to find anyone else in the area who offers free shuttle and bridal suite?

Four Points is already sending me a contract, but I would switch if there was a better place nearby!
