Hotel blocking advice.....

Hotel blocking advice.....

I've been calling hotels to see if i could block rooms this far in advance. Some hotels told me they dont have 2011 rates but if i block the rooms now they will give me 2009 prices. IF you book up to 15 rooms you do not have to hold any money on your credit card, anything over that you might. All of the hotels told me that rates are going up considerably in 2010 then again in 2011. When you call some places will try to put you off...tell them the last hotel you spoke to was able to do it for you...they will change their mind. Also ask for a comp shuttle and breakfast for your guest in the morning...they seem to be throwing this in ( some of them).

La Quinta on steward ave in garden city gives your guest a breakfast for free in the morning but you pay for the shuttle. They will also give you either $150 off a bridal suite if you book like 10 rooms.

FM me for more details if you would like. I called alot of hotels up to melville...WHO CARES WHAT PEOPLE SAY ITS NEVER TO EARLY TO SAVE MONEY LADIES....

Correction: La Quinta gives $150 off suite or free shuttle (only holds 14 pax) when 15 rooms are booked

I just got a really good quote from 4 points sheraton in plainview...$115 a night. They are also allowing me to book now to assure these rates. They will also allow the bar to stay open until 4 am...I do beleive you have to pay a little for the OT for the workers

wow... thats really a great rate... if it was closer to my hall, i def would've booked with them... the hotel and rooms are beautiful! for me, this hotel would have been like 10 exits past my hall and just didnt make sense for me to have my guests drive out further ya know? but if its nearby, go for it!
