Anyone having or had a wedding in Port Jefferson and blocked hotel rooms? i am getting married at the PJCC next year and I am looking for a good hotel that is reasonably priced, but most importantly with nice rooms.

Try the Hampton Inn in Commack - it's not in PJ, but it's not far and they were reasonable - my guest paid $125. Susan in group sales was extremely nice and helpful! Good luck...

I'm getting married at PJ cc next July. We've blocked rooms at Danfords & Holiday Inn express - Neither is reasonably priced. Danfords is $199 and Holiday Inn is $145. We are also going to put down the Terryville Motor Inn although they will not let you block rooms. They're not far from the CC (right up 112) and the rooms were clean and basic. They are like $80 per night. Hope that helps!

Terryville Motor Lodge
We were able to reserve a few rooms for guests there and my mom said they were replacing the carpet and furniture in the rooms. They are $78/night.

I am not sure how far it is from the PJCC, but we stayed at the Best Western rihgt by the LIE, exit 63 or 64. They had nice rooms, a restaurant/bar and an indoor pool. We paid about $135 for one night. You might be able to negotiate a better price for a block of rooms.

We booked rooms at Danford's, Three Village Inn, Terryville Motor Lodge, Inn at Medford & Best Western Holtsville/Farmingville. Our prices ranged from $80 - 250 per room. In our planning we found that the staff at the Holiday Inns we talked to were all pushy, rude & nasty! Besides the fact that you pay almost $200 for a Holiday Inn! We're getting married labor Day weekend (13 days!!!!) at the Port Jeff Country Club, so I'll have a full report when we get back from our honeymoon! Good luck and happy planning! I will have a full report when get back from the honeymoon (2 weeks of fun in the sun!) we are using a DJ, but we booked Sounds Unlimited.
