I want to look into hotels for a hotel block this weekend.
What hotels did everyone check out and did you get a cheaper rate if you blocked out more rooms?

I didn't get anything lower for blocking out more rooms but is so many nights were booked we got our suite free for the night

I didn't get a lower rate for blocking out more rooms and I had to pay for my bridal suite but the Viana Hotel & Spa was so nice I went with it anyway....

We just went with the hotel our venue suggested - Courtyard Marriot Republic Airport. I have been dealing with Randi there and she so helpful and sweet. We didn't get charged anything to hold the rooms and they provide free shuttle service when 10 rooms are booked and a free room for you or a discount on the Bridal suite if 15 rooms are booked.

i have a hotel block at the inn at fox hollow.
we also looked at about 5 hotels in the area, i just can't think of their names off the top of my head.

I am blocked at the Hampton Inn in Garden City. It doesn't have a bar or free shuttle, but it does have free breakfast and they gave me an amazing rate. I didn't get a better rate because I blocked more rooms, but they did throw in the conference room for free if a certain # were blocked and $ off our bridal suite!
