ok ladies so whats the process for hotel blocks? do we pay for putting them aside? lol i clearly have no idea what im doing :( lol Thanks for your help!!!!

I didn't have to pay to hold them. I just told them how many rooms I needed and they wrote up a contract for me.

I figured out which hotel that I wanted the room block with. Then researched pricing before I went to even see a representative. We received a tour of the hotel/rooms/facilities, then negotiated a price per night. Luckily we didn't have to guarantee a certain amount of room. Signed a contract and thats it. We didn't need to pay for anything up front.

Nope no $$ involved! All the hotels I looked into for blocking just wanted to know how many rooms I wanted and drew up a contract!! good luck!!!
