hotel blocks and transportation

A few of my friends asked if i was going to put a block on a hotel for after my wedding because they said they wouldn't want to drive home after.... I hadn't thought about it cause i don't have many OOT guests.... My question is do any hotels offer a free shuttle service if you have a certain amount of guests or do you have to do that separate?? TIA

Some hotels include a shuttle and some don't. Our hotel doesn't include a shuttle, so we're going to arrange for one ourselves.

Depends on your hotel. If you're doing limos, you could also check with them for a shuttle van.

Alot of times if you go with the hotel that is recommended by your RH and they have shuttle, they will give it to you free of charge. We are going with LaQuinta in garden city from JT. Free shuttle/ If you wanna look into shuttle service. Call Colonial in Sayville. they'll give you prices 631-589-3500

The hotel I used to be blocked with offered a free 15 passenger van for every 15 rooms booked. If you wanted to upgrade, they figure out how much the van would have cost and take it off the price of your upgrade.

my hotel provided a shuttle but it was an additional charge since it was an external company. they wont comp that but comped other things (like our bridal suite). but at least you wouldn't have to worry about another vendor or setting it up, as the hotel takes care of it for you.

haha. hi! Im glad we didn't try to book the same hotel block. that could have gotten complicated. La Quinta was our second choice too. :)
