Hotel Check In for night of the wedding....

Our reception isn't over until 11pm... are we going to be able to check in at a hotel then? We are hoping to book a place to stay but have no way of getting the room key earlier, etc that day.

Anyone find the hotels to be accomodating?

Should be fine. Or you can have someone check you in earlier - i.e. a family member or DOC if you have one

Ive checked into hotels super late! Just tell them youre coming after your wedding!

DH took care of checking us in to the hotel the morning of the wedding. But if you let them know about what time you'll be arriving and that it's after your wedding, you won't have a problem.

my dad came and picked up my car that morning and dropped it off at the hotel for us, and then we just checked in after the reception. we got there at 1:30 am and didn't have any problems!

We didn't get to our hotel until 2:30 AM! We checked in no problem. I asked if this would be okay when I booked though.

I think that if you let them know ahead of time when you will be arriving they should accomodate you.

We are going to be staying at the same hotel as our guests so when my mother goes to check herself in between the church and reception, she is going to check us in as well and get our key for us (or just have the key waiting for us at the front desk).
