Hotel contract question
I just received the contract in the mail for blocking rooms. When I was there, I specifically asked if I needed to put a credit card down (which I dont want to do). She said no credit card is necessary. Now that I read the contract it says they would like me to give them credit card information in case I cancel the rooms after the 1 month cut-off date. I will be responsible for the rooms. Is this normal?

Re: Hotel contract question
No, the Marriott will only charge your credit card if you cancel the room block 24 hours before your wedding or something like that

Re: Hotel contract question
I booked the marriot in Melville - not sure which one you're booking - but we didn't have to give any credit card info. We went there, met with the girl, signed some papers and that was it. We had to agree to forfiet any rooms not reserved by 1 month prior but that was it.
