We blocked off rooms at the econolodge on Main st. but I'd like to offer guests some place nicer. My FH and I need a place to stay that night too.
Any ideas?

On Vets Highway there are a few hotels near the airport.

Vets highway is on the south shore...it's about 10- 15 minutes from the water...

Bayshore Motor Inn??? JUST KIDDING! Unfortunately there aren't any NiCER hotels in that area. You will probably have to end over to the LIE Wyndham.

I don't think so....the only one I know of is the one near the Commack Movie Theatre, and there's the Bay Shore Inn.....formerly the Capri on Howells Road. I don't think its that nice though.

I am from around there so we went with the Marriot in Islandia. It's close like 15/20 min away. The Holiday Inn express is also close (Ronkonkoma I believe)

Not that I know from experience, but I did know that!! LOL Thank you though... I think I'd want something a bit nicer...Can you image my grandma in THAT place????

yup try vets
i live on the south shore and it is about 5 at most 10 minutes to holiday inn or hilton garden on VETS highway
