Hotel info

Hotel info

Hey Ladies! I have a question about when you are sending out hotel info. Most of our quests, I'd say 80%, are out of town. I'm wondering if we should include info in our STDs in the next month or so, send out by themselves in the fall, or wait until invitations go out. Any advice is appreciated. TIA!

I would include a little note with hotel information.

Along the lines of:

For your convenience, rooms have been blocked at the Days Inn 631-123-4567, mention the Smith-Jones wedding for a discounted rate.

Definitely send something with your STDs...

Thanks for responding. The hotels gave us little inserts. I was thinking about including a brief little note. Thanks Jen!

I would include info with the save the date also. That is what I am going to do and then the directions and stuff the hotel gives me I will send with the invitation.

i am including them in our save the dates. it is jsut easier. and way in advance that people can start planning.

Wish I thought of this earlier... We sent out our STDs in January, but were just able to block rooms Friday. How should we spread the word about the hotel?

I guess you could send a little note to your guests with the hotel info. You could always e-mail the computer savy guests.

You could also set up a wedding website and put all the out of town info there. On your save the dates you direct them to your website to get all the info.
That's what FH and I are thinking of doing!
