wondering if anyone is having the problems with the hotel that I am having. I want them to give me an early check in so I can get my hair and make up done there...they won't gaurentee it, but I don't want to book the room the night before bc it is such a waste and so expensive- has anyone had this problem and if so how did you deal with it...the hotel we are dealing with are not being very accomodating, and we have about 15 rooms blocked there - even thinkign of having a brunch there the next day for my guests...and I am only asking to get checked in at 1:00.
any advice would be helpful!!

I am having the same problem... Instead, I have decided to get ready where I am having the reception/ceremony... They are being a lot more flexible than the hotel was.

Maybe ask if they can quote you for a 'day' room. Not sure if all hotels do this but I know some do. It's a price much less than the overnight price and it provides a room (albeit, maybe not your room) for the day.

What about renting a conference room in the hotel? Also...did you speak to the sales manager? I would let them know that you will take your business elsewhere (15 rooms and brunch) if they can't help you out.
