Hotel Options in or near Mineola for guests

Hi,

Does anyone have any recommendations on hotels near Mineola that I could use for my guests?

I am looking for something definitely under $100 per night - if any of you have experience with getting cheaper rates, etc. - tips would be greatly appreciated.

I also would love to hear any info about hotels to stay away from.

Try Floral Park. There is none in Mineola. There is on in Westbury too. They are both under $100

Floral Park Motor Lodge and I think the one in Westbury is called Pines Motor Lodge

There really aren't any decent options for under $100 but you can come close to 100.

There is nothing in Mineola but in Westbury - and Garden City try:
Wingate inn (blocking rooms is about 127)
Red Roof Inn -
Holiday inn (next to CB)
Hilton Garden Inn
If you go up Jerhico trkp there is a howard Jonhnsons

I tried that..(Floral Park Motor Lodge)
It's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO far away!
It's right on the boarder of Queens.

We wanted something close to Hempstead/Garden City/Mineola and we THOUGHT that was close until we actually drove out to it.

But it is under $100

We ended up with the Hilton Inn Garden City (next to the Source mall behind Bed Bath & Beyond). But it's like $171.

Try the Red Roof Inn or Wingate.

Isn't the Pines Motor Lodge a 'by the hour' motel? I wouldn't want my wedding guests staying there...

Try Red Roof Inn- it is by Lowe's in Westbury.

Red Roof Inn near the Source Mall
Wingate on Stewart Ave near Roosevelt Field
THere is the Holiday Inn right on Old Country Road near Chateau Briand.

What about the Long Island Marriott on Hempstead Turnpike? If you are negotiating a group rate, you might get it for $99. I was able to do that at the Courtyard Mariott in Ronkonkoma.
