hotel questions

fi & i went looking at hotels for OOT guests yesterday. huntington country inn is in the perfect location - closest to wedding locale and walking distance to restaurants/bars/salons/shops. it's easy to get to so folks are less likely to get lost. plus there is a microwave & refridgerator in the room for people who don't want to/can't spend extra $$ on eating out. BUT, it felt kinda motor-lodge-ish to me & fi and rooms don't come close to hilton/sheraton/marriott/etc.

anyone have any opinions/experiences with huntington country inn?

if not, if you were in our situation, would you choose it despite lower quality rooms?

Re: hotel questions

Maybe you could offer a choice of 2 hotels? Either block this and mention another to guests or block rooms in 2?

Re: hotel questions

If you're not too sure about the feel, offer 2 hotels- one more hotel feeling (if that makes sense) and the other motor lodge. I am sure they will be 2 different prices. This way you can let the guests decide. That is what we did.
