FMIL is a TA and she looked up some hotels near our RH but she said that they dont have 08 pricing yet. we could book and block rooms but they dont have the exact price for us.
I know some of you blocked rooms already... did they give you an exact price for your wedding date?

I went to and called about 5 or 6 hotels and got exact prices.

The Inn at Fox Hollow gave us exact prices too--for this year and next.

yes, my venue is in the hotel, so they gave me the price for 08' wedding guests when we booked ($145) but i guess they kinda have to know since its taking place there~

i called back in March or april and they told me the same thing. I called back last month and the rates came out and they were able to quote.

Wingate Inn Hotel qouted me 159$ per night and its on our contract so its def that price for 08

Im May, so your can only be cheaper! Oh, and I have Memorial Day weekend, BUT I got quotes for Thurs. Fri. and Sat. March might be cheaper, but keep my numbers in mind in case they give you higher quotes! Tell them to match them. Ive had hotels give me a lower quote because I told them a similar hotel gave me a better price! Trust me, they want your $$$, so they will lower their prices. (Not all of them, but hey, worth a try!)
