Hotel rates!!!

So I called a bunch of hotels by the WM yesterday(boss was out) and the cheapest was around $149.......

I was like WOW!!! I thought it would be about 100, but I'm worry if it going to too much for people...

All of our GMs are from out of town, and then some family...

Do you ladies think this is high???

Mines $250!!!!!!!

But its a hotel on the beach and its the only one in a 20 mile radius i think...its either that or the LIRR! Or driving drunk (which I highly discourage)

$250 isnt that much money to ensure your safety!

Don't worry. That is average. Many times singles share 4 to a room. I know we always get a double room and share with another couple when we can and it brings down the cost.

Im paying about $115-$125 for Best Western in Woodbury... that is the discounted rate too...I dont think anything is going to be $100 -- but a lower end hotel will probably be closer to that.

I would love 125!!! I know 100 was pushing it but I was hoping!!!

FH and I stayed there for a friend's wedding in April - it was $159 for the night. Honestly the room was just 'ok' - it really didn't matter to us because it was just a place to crash so we didn't have to worry about the drive home. Also, they had 2 other weddings blocking rooms there that night so the afternoon check in was a bit crazy.
But, it had a bar which was nice for a drink before and after the wedding.
