Hotel rooms?

Hotel rooms?

We are booking rooms at a hotel for the night of the wedding. Me and Fh are going to get a suite, since the price is not much more. I was thinking of having all the girls go to the hotel the day of the wedding, to get their hair and makeup done.
Is anyone else doing this, and if you are, how are you paying for the room.
If you need the room for the morning of the wedding, does that mean you have to pay for an extra night. My wedding is on a SUnday, so I would have to pay Saturday and Sunday night?

I'm doing this. SInce my wedding party is so big we just need the space. I booked a suite at the Wingate Hotel in Garden City. Since checkin is at 3, I booked the hotel for 2 nights (early check-in is not guaranteed). I'll stay there the night before with my girls and I'm gonna let my MOH and her FH stay their on our wedding night (he's our best man). That will be our additional 'Thank you' to them.

Check in is normally 3pm so you should book it for the day before.

check in for most hotels is 3 or 4 pm and they don't guarantee early check in. you would probably have to reserve the room for saturday night as well.
