Hi girls I was just wondering who blocked rooms for their guests. If you did, did u sign a contract, and how did u go about it. What if you needed more rooms or didn't use all the rooms you blocked.

Re: HOTEL ROOMS
FH and I went there to check it out. told them about how many we needed to block then she emailed me the contract and we signed and returned
we are not responsible though for the rooms that are not booked.

Re: HOTEL ROOMS
we used who our house vendor specialist recommended., we got a good rate., we signed something but it does not hold us liable in anyway.

Re: HOTEL ROOMS
Different hotels work differently... The two places near the Fox Hollow for example work like this:
Executive Inn - block rooms in groups of 10. You need to fill at least 5 of the rooms(if you get 4 - she's pretty good with it and will let it go) - if you do, you keep the group rate. Any fewer than that, the rate goes back to the normal price. All guests - when they call are told this fact. If you need more rooms - you're fine & more can be added as needed. They also book rooms by night - so if you have one couple staying 2 nights - that counts as 2 rooms being booked.
Inn At Fox Hollow - you block rooms in groups of 10. You HAVE to fill at least half of the rooms or you are charged the extra rooms to fill the 5. They book rooms by the night - so if you have someone staying 2 nights, that counts as 2 of the 5.
