Hotel w Bar for Bourne Mansion Wedding

Hi everyone,

I am having my wedding at the Bourne Mansion in August 2014 and I am in the process of booking a hotel.

I need a place that has a bar and shuttle service. So far, the Courtyard Marriott looks good but I am not sure about the bar there (any feedback?).

The windwatch is beautiful but the shuttle is almost $400 each way.

Any ideas are appreciated. Thanks!

my FSIL used the Marriott for her bourne mansion wedding, the bar was good.... it's a bar inside of a hotel as long as you have the right company it's fun. I feel like most people went to sleep tho..... but it depends on your family and friends.

I believe it's the Hilton in Plainview/Melville that offers a shuttle and it's a nice place. hth!

My friend got married there in May and booked rooms at Viana Hotel in Westbury...it's new and so pretty
***Oops disregard, she got married at de seversky mansion not Bourne

But A few years ago I went to the Bourne and stayed at Hyatt in Hauppauge.

i got married at the Bourne Mansion in March and we did our room blocks at the Hyatt Regency in Hauppauge.. the bar was open till 2am at no cost.. we had many people at the bar and it was great.

shuttles are not included, and from my research, you aren't really going to find any hotels in the area that include a shuttle. I heard the holiday inn in Ronkonkoma does, but heard bad things bout that hotel...

also whatever you do do not use first student as your shuttle to the bourne.... i had a very bad experience

Thank you all for the info! I think we're going with the Hyatt Regency. I am concerned about the guarantee that they require, but I am hopeful to fill them up
