Any one know how far in advance you should block rooms off for your wedding at a hotel?

I would do it as soon as you have chosen your wedding location.

Depends how popular your weekend is. If a lot of weddings happen near your hotel, call them now. Also, there are other non-wedding events (business meetings, school competitions, etc.) that can impact room availability. I would say try to do it at least 4-6 months before.
