I have never really been out that way. Anyone know what is around there? I want to be as close as possible to Middle Island Country Club. Of course I can't get in touch with them and my search is not going well.

my girlfriend got married there 2 years ago and i believe everyone stayed at the best western in i thing riverhead (or closer).

Try the hotel at exit 63, I THINK it is a Hampton Inn, and then at exit 64, there is another hotel on 112 (both much closer than Riverhead)...I forget the Exit 64 name..I had it b/c I called myself, let me check my notes....okay, found it....
Exit 63 off of LIE Hampton Inn, ask for Jennifer 631 732 7300 $139pp w/ full breakfast indoor pool fitness center
Exit 64 off of LIE Comfort Inn, ask for Jean 631 654 3000 $119+tax fitness room continental bkfst
The Middle Island CC is at Exit 66.... good luck!

If it's near Hauppauge, the Wyndam Wind Watch is very nice.
