hotels for wedding night

hotels for wedding night

does anyone have any suggestions for hotels for the first night? We are getting married on Saturday and leaving for our honeymoon on Monday, so we figure we should spend that time in between someplace nice like a hotel. Is anyone else doing this?

FH and I booked the bridal suite at the Four Points Sheraton in Plainview. That's also where we're doing our room block for our OOT guests and BP, family, etc.

Hi M-E.

I am getting to the hotel Friday and leaving sunday after brunch.

We will stay at home sun and mon and get on a plane mon night.

I am staying at the same hotel that we got our blockof rooms for out of town guests.

If you havent made a reservation I emplore you to make it in the next few days. My hotel block is full for Novenmebr, and the hotel is no longer taking reservation. Basically its May and they are sold out for the night of my wedding.

We were going to do this too, but thought we might want to go home Sunday to finish packing/relax. I think I would be too stressed to get everything ready on Friday for the wedding AND the HM.

So I don't really have an answer for you lol. Just wanted to say that might be something to think of!

Also, should ask where you are getting married/where you live - that would impact where you stay (if anywhere) greatly!

We did this bc we didnt leave for our hm until 5 days after wedding. We stayed 2 nights, we stayed in the city though since this was best for us. We live in queens just 10 mins from the city so was easier to get home after, plus easier since we didnt have our cars with us. Also gave us things to do and didnt need a car.

We might stay a night or two after the wedding at a hotel, but we're getting married on a Sunday and not going on the HM until Thursday after so we'll probably end up going home at some point to pack and such.

We are getting married on a Sunday and leaving on the following Tuesday for the HM. We are staying in a hotel for our wedding night, but then will go home in the afternoon on Monday for last minute packing/organizing for the HM. I have a feeling those days just before and after the wedding will be crazy....but fun!

id love to, but so expensive. I'm still looking for hotels... not 100% sure yet

I'm staying at the hotel friday with MOH and then sat with FH. We will be going home sunday as late as we can, and going on our honeymoon on Tuesday. We wanted time to cash checks and pack without rushing.
