Check cruisecritic.com, some lines pull out of San Juan and a lot of cruisers go in a day early. They all chat about what hotel they are using.

FH and I went on a cruise 2 years ago and spent one night at the Intercontinental. It was amazing, and since they had overbooked and we were only staying one night, they gave us the honeymoon suite.

the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino!!! gorgeous hotel ... pool area is amazing! ... right on the beach with amazing views!

got it through priceline for about 125 a night i believe back in may!

If you don't mind traveling far from the airport (I think an hour or so by bus), El Conquistador is AMAZING!!! My MOH got married there last July and it was absolutely beautiful and a really fun place!
