Hi ladies, I'm hoping someone can help me. I'm looking for a hotel near the Metropolitan in Glen Cove. I know that the Glen Cove mansion is pretty close by but it is a little pricey for our oot guests (some coming from as far as London). I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I need to set up some kind of shuttle service also. We are looking at about 40-60 people who will be staying at the hotel and will be seeking transportation to and from the rh. I thank you all in advanced for any help you may be able to provide.

Maybe try the Roslyn Claremont Hotel?? Its about 4-5 miles away but i'm not sure of pricing

Hi!
We stayed at La Qunita in Garden City with our guests (approx 50 for Sat night). I had a 55- passenger coach bus that I rented through Coach USA ($995). La Quinta provides a free shuttle, but it's small - so we took a credit towards the room & got our own bus... .
We had our reception at The Metropolitan too , as you know... very easty to get there from La Quinta...

There is a hotel on School Street right next to Page One Restaurant in Glen Cove. It is probably much cheaper than GCM.

I would go with the East Norwich Inn. DH is from Glen Cove so his parents wanted a hotel near their house. Their OOT guests stayed at the East Norwich Inn - it was clean and comfortable and relatively close to Glen Cove - probably only about 10 minutes away. You could just get buses to bring people to and from the reception

I also used the East Norwich Inn for my OOT guests... we had about 45 rooms there. I also stayed there on my wedding night!

the Garden City Hotel is very nice, but a bit pricey too.

Unfortunatly the hotels are all pricey there. Glen cove was the best for us b/c of the huge bar upstairs. Roslyn was OK, but still pricey. We also looked at the marriot in Uniondale and that was about 180/night but about 7 miles away....ask the GlenCove mansion if they give any discounts...we did b/c our reception is at the Swan Club.
