Hotels near the Sand Castle

So FH and I were thinking about having the wedding after party close to home at either his old place of work ( a beer distriubutor) or our local bar. But, now were thinking that getting a block of rooms at a hotel near sand castle would be more fun, IF the hotel has a bar, club, lonuge.....Anyone know of any places like this? THANKS!

I made a list of hotels with decent reviews from Google Maps, i can send you the list. I also emailed all of them with my plan for an afterparty and then getting a block of rooms.
Shuttles are a good thing to known as well...but if i can find a place where we can have an afterparty and get a block of rooms, i might just have to get a party bus lol

I did a lot of research on this as well and decided on three to go look at--Garden City Hotel, Viana, and Marriott. If I knew my guests had an unlimited budget I definitely would have picked Garden City. It is the closest to the Sand Castle and is absolutely amazing!! They mentioned that they can keep the bar open late for us (I don't remember if there was an additional fee). The Viana was very nice as well and less expensive than the Garden City Hotel. It was the farthest away of the 3 hotels. The rooms were gorgeous and the bar could be opened late--it was about a $200 fee and then we had to guarantee $300 in drink purchases or we had to pay the difference. The Marriott is a typical Marriott. While Champs is located in the hotel, it is only opened until 1pm. The woman we spoke with did not think a bar could stay opened late but she would find out for me.

I'm not having a day wedding, it actually ends at midnight according to my contract, so 1am will not work for me.

I need to call these hotels up and see if they will stay open until at least 4am. Isnt that closing time in NY?

Viana said you can keep the bar open til 4 for $200 and a $300 alcohol consumption minimum. I don't know why I thought you were doing a day wedding!

I would 100%%%% Pay that! And my friends could drink 300 worth of booze in like 1/2 hour LOL.
