Anyone familiar with a good hotel near either the SandCastle in Franklin Square or near Floral Park.
Any star rating is fine - as long as it is a good hotel in your opinion.

I have never been there but I just saw that they opened a new Quality Inn in FP on Jericho Tpke. I am going to look into it for some of my OOT guests.

There is the new Quality Inn on Jericho in FP, never been there, but it is brand new, so I would think it must be nice. there is also The Floral Park Motor Inn on Jericho, it is actually very nice! I think many years ago it was seedy, but it's not anymore and the rooms are really nice.

they quoted me $99 for september which was a good price but their customer service sux and the manager is never around

That's a good price not sure if I will recommend it to them though if they aren't going to get good service. Ugh! Why can't things just be easy :)

My sister used the Floral Park Motor Lodge when she got married at the Sand Castle in '05. At the time the rooms were basic and clean BUT that was four years ago. It can not hurt to take a look.
